What We Do

ContactIf you need medical advice or attention when your doctors surgery is closed you MUST ring your own GP’s surgery telephone number first. You will then be diverted to Go To Doc or an answer phone message will give you the Go To Doc telephone number.

What happens when you ring Go To Doc Ltd

A trained telephonist will answer your call, ask a few personal details and ask the reason for your call.

A nurse or doctor will always be available to speak to you...

  • To give advice
  • To arrange an appointment with the doctor at one of our Primary Care Centres
  • To arrange a home visit if you need to be seen and are not fit enough to travel EG elderly or bed-bound patients

Before calling your surgery out of hours please think about how you feel, can you wait until the surgery re-opens, could a dentist, a pharmacist, a midwife or a district nurse help you with your concern.

Please Note:

We cannot book appointments with your own GP. You will need to contact your own surgery once it re-opens.
